Gauge 2 Open Wagons
The Gauge 2 wagon stock is a mixture of Carette tinplate and wooden
body stock, perhaps by Bassett Lowke.
7-Plank open, wood construction, possibly by
Butcher. One of four identical wagons acquired in very poor
condition with the Butcher 'Abergavenny' at the SAS auction in 2019.

5-Plank Open, wood construction, origin
unknown perhaps Bassett Lowke. From the Rugby Vectis auction and
clearly related to the dumb buffer wagons with the same type of coal
load.

still running Gauge 2 in modern times!

LNWR 20T coal wagons. Wood construction,
probably scratch built. These two wagons form a pair with a type of
automatic coupler (very rare in Gauge 2) between them.

NER 5 plank open coal wagon. Wood construction, from the Rugby
Vectis auctions.
